Cristina Loukopoulos is a Colombian-Greek Visual Artist from Queens, New York. Her work is informed by her sense of world building through the use of earthly folk imagery, saturated hues, and organic motions. Cristina uses her work as an emotional landscape for the feelings she’s unable to process within her body and seeks answers through the transcendental and divine, in hopes of finding a home in the women she paints.

Cristina received her BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2021. She has exhibited in the US including shows at CUE Gallery in New York, Guilty By Association Gallery in Brooklyn, The Compére Collective Gallery in Brooklyn, and the LMCC Art Center at Governors Island. Her work has been reviewed by Mixed Mag, Guilty By Association, and The Static Arts Collective. In 2015, Cristina received a residency from the Oxbow School of Art Residency in Napa, CA. Cristina currently lives and works in Ridgewood, Queens.
